D'Orlan Jewellery was founded in Toronto, Canada, by Maurice Bradden in 1957. Bradden had previously trained with the French jeweler Marcel Boucher. The craftsmanship and attention to detail in the jewelry produced by D'Orlan using Boucher molds are of exceptional quality. In 1984, the brand partnered with Nina Ricci Paris (renowned worldwide in the fashion industry for its French designs and luxury goods). Together, the two companies exclusively developed a high-level treatment with a 22-karat triple-layer plating finish that ensures consistent color. This process was also incorporated into Nina Ricci jewelry.
